Ging Moy

Executive Managing Director

Ging Moy has over 30 years of experience in marketing to institutional investors and, originating and managing alternative investments.  He was previously a Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager at Guggenheim Partners, responsible for business development and managing traditional and alternative strategies against bespoke benchmarks.  Before Guggenheim, he held senior roles in investment research, risk management and portfolio management at Deutsche Bank.  Mr. Moy began his investment career sourcing and structuring private placements and resolving bankruptcies, and workouts at Mutual of New York and The Travelers.

Ging Moy holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering. and M.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.  He holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.

Monica Himes

Managing Director

Monica Himes has over 20 years of experience in capital markets in various industries within Latin America and the U.S. Ms. Himes has expertise in investment sourcing, capital raising and marketing, as well as strategic advisory for emerging and established managers in alternative investments with a focus in real estate and sustainable industries.  She has led various capital raising campaigns from inception to close, for direct assets and portfolios, institutional funds and several JV partnerships, ranging from $50 to $300 million.  Her network and relationships range from family offices to private and public pension funds, including niche real estate operators, primarily within Latin America and the U.S.

Ms. Himes has a Master’s degree in Finance from Suffolk University in Boston, MA, and a Bachelors in International Business from the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico.  She holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses, as well as the Massachusetts Real Estate license.

Robert Roach

Managing Director

Bob Roach has over 30 years of broker dealer, investment management and private placements experience.  Mr. Roach has originated, structured or closed over $500 million in private placement transactions, raising capital from institutional, family offices, Angel and accredited investors.   He has raised capital in a variety of sectors including telecom, technology, financial services, life sciences, emerging markets and B to B services.  Mr. Roach is also experienced in establishing and raising AUM for ’40 Act investment funds.  Mr. Roach began his career structuring private placements and leveraged financings for Travelers Insurance, GE Capital and US West Financial Services.  Throughout his career, he has been responsible for structuring and underwriting private placements and capital raises, as well as the management of broker dealers, registered investment advisers and registered investment companies.

Mr. Roach earned an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Chicago – Booth School of Business, and a B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College.   He holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 28, 63, 66, 79, 87 & 99 licenses.

Paul Shaum

Managing Director

Paul Shaum has over 30 years of experience in corporate finance, portfolio management and research.  Mr. Shaum has been a Principal at First New Amsterdam, where he was involved in managing commercial real estate.  Previously, he has been a Portfolio Manager at various firms including Soros Fund Management, and a Soros funded spin-off, EAC Management.  Earlier on, he was a Director of High Yield Research at Bear Stearns, Nations Bank and SG Cowen.

Paul Shaum holds a B.A. from Eckerd College and an MBA from Owen School, Vanderbilt University. He holds FINRA Series 7, 65 and 63 licenses.

Walter Stottmeister

Managing Director

Walter Stottmeister has over 35 years of experience in developing and optimizing processes and formulations in the chemical industry.  Most recently, Mr. Stottmeister has been engaged in evaluating investment opportunities in the hemp/cannabis sector within states that have permitted its development.  Previously,  Walter Stottmeister was a Technical Director at Royal Adhesives and Sealants and a Lab Manager at Harcros/Elementis plc.  He began his career as a process engineer at Hardman Incorporated where he had increasing responsibilities for plant operations and process cost improvements.

Mr. Stottmeister has a B.E. in Chemical Engineering from the Stevens Institute of Technology.  He holds FINRA Series 7, 63 and 79 licenses
